At first, I was bored while watching the first episode because I wasn’t really excited nor did I knew anything about this drama. I almost gave up watching, but I told myself that “beginnings are always boring”, so I continued. I’m so glad I did. I was hooked! From that very first episode, many questions were in my head that needed answers. I couldn’t stop watching. I had to wait one week for new episodes, and during the days I’m waiting, I keep on coming up with predictions, and only a few of my predictions came true, but that’s a good thing. It’s what made me interested. Every episode will pull you in deeper and deeper into the drama. You’ll have many questions, but these questions will be answered clearly as the story goes on. Until the end, the drama will show you all the answers you were looking for during the first couple of episodes. The ending was satisfying. The best ending I’ve ever seen from a Korean drama, and that’s not exaggerating. It is actually what gave me to the conclusion of giving Bride of the Century a 10 because I never give a perfect rate.
As for the cast, Yang Jin Sung played both roles well. I didn’t really expect anything from her because I didn’t know her, but after seeing her do both roles properly, I like her. I’m looking forward to her future projects! Our Lee Hong Ki was so charming with his “cold” character. If you fell in love the bubbly and cute Jeremy, I’m sure you’ll even love this cold-at-first-but-actually-really-cute, charming, handsome Choi Kang Ju. The rest of the cast was also perfect. I think that they did a pretty good job playing their character because I have no complaints. /i don’t want to ruin anything so i’ll end it here./
Overall, the story was really well-written. I definitely recommend this drama to those who are looking for a new drama to watch. I hope you enjoy this drama as good as I did.
